God Always Keeps His Promises

“Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” And God said, “This is a sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: “I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth, “It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud: “and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. “The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”
Genesis 9:12-17

Thank You Lord that You are a faithful God and we can trust You. You have said You will always keep Your promises to all living creatures and all flesh on the earth. You kept Your promise to Abraham and Sarah concerning their son Issac, even after twenty years of waiting for the promise. “By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.” Hebrews 11:11.

In the New Testament Jesus said, “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49. You kept Your promise of sending us Your Spirit of Promise. “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:39. Thank You for the promise to each of us and our children as we come to know You as it has been appointed by You, to be our God, Savior, and Friend.

“…by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4. Keep us Lord in Your truth and help us not lust after the world.

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20

Thank You God that all of Your promises are a Yes and a big Amen for Your glory. Amen and Amen!
